The album was recorded throughout 2010 with a long-time friend of the band, producer Dave Ogilvie. The band worked in a variety of studios to produce the record, including Hipposonic (formerly Mushroom Studios) as well as 604 Studios and the band's very own studio space, known as the Smiling Buddha Enjoyment Complex.

Love Machine
You say you wanna be you wanna be somewhere else
You don’t like that feeling that you’re stoned
Thought it as a need just a need and nothing else
But everywhere you look you lost control
It’s taken over
It’s taken charge this crazy thing
Turning all that fuss into a love machine
Don’t you wanna get high
Don’t you wanna get high
Don’t you wanna be a lover in paradise
Don’t you wanna be seen
Don’t you wanna believe
Every day is brighter in a love machine
You ever have that day that you wanna run away
Run away from the life that you lead
Then for reason everything becomes okay
Reasons don’t matter it seems

Sloan breaks absolutely NO new ground on their newest record. And I couldn't care less. Because when the songs are this good, nothing else matters.
This kicks ass. Todd Leiter-Weintraub
